Mother's and daughters have a unique bond and with the arrival of Grace I wanted to mark the three generations of women in our family with a beautiful piece of heirloom jewellery. Auree is inspired by Founder Amelia's grandmothers - one, a vivacious and daring traveller, the other a phenomenal multi-tasker. Their classic pieces are designed to travel through life with you and are loved by generations. I fell in love with their 9ct Walton Collection and so my mother and I each wear a piece with a special engraving inside and in time I will pass these on to my daughter and future generations. I have teamed up with them to offer one of you a Walton Russian Wedding Ring of your own.
To enter:
*Make sure you're following @aureejewellery & me (we'll be checking)
*Tag any friend in the comments who you think would also like to enter
*UK entries only, closes at midnight on Monday 30th November. Good luck!
Starting a new week with yet another walk with my Starting a new week with yet another walk with my girl. It’s pretty much all we do these days and I can’t say I’m mad about it.
Sleep deprivation is HARD. So much harder than I e Sleep deprivation is HARD. So much harder than I ever imagined and this week (with vaccinations and potentially a teething bubba) it hit me. But then we have days like today, or moments when we make her laugh and everything feels ok again, also those chins šŸ˜ (hers, not mine).

Earlier this week I shot a new collaboration with one of my favourite jewellery brands. You may remember that on my wedding day I gave my bridesmaids initial bracelets from @aureejewellery and so it seemed fitting that they joined me on my next milestone as a mother.

We have a giveaway to share with you on Monday and I’m honestly so excited for it!
Last week I had the absolute pleasure of chatting Last week I had the absolute pleasure of chatting to the lovely Ashley @thebeauxjournals for her amazing new podcast. @britishbirthstories_ provides a platform and makes space for women to share honest accounts of their birth stories. We discuss everything from falling pregnant after endometriosis, my first pregnancy which ended with a missed miscarriage, giving birth during covid and my first week as a new mum with a baby in SCBU. I didn’t love being pregnant. As excited as I was for my baby, I was uncomfortable, physically and emotionally exhausted and spent the entire 9 months with severe anxiety which only intensified after the birth when my daughter was taken into special care. But I can honestly say that I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. Everyone’s journey to motherhood is different, some positive, some not so much. I personally loved hearing other women’s stories throughout my pregnancy and found myself scouring the internet for them when I was diagnosed with Polyhydramnious at 38 weeks. I’d never heard of the condition before and wanted to hear a real persons account of it rather than being terrified by my own google searches. I wish this podcast had been around then!

Oh and PS, it’s worth a listen for Ashley’s voice alone. She could do bedtime stories with that accent! ✨ (link in bio)
