A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire for an event with Winser London. I was invited by Winser to help celebrate the brands 4th birthday and what a fun day we had! With a full day planned out for us we got stuck in with hair and make up, ready to shoot some looks from the pieces we had chosen from their current collection. Our make-up was by the talented Linda Brown using Delilah Cosmetics – I hadn’t heard of Delilah before, but despite the application being slightly heavier on the eyes than I would normally do myself, I was really happy with the end result, a combination of the products themselves and Linda’s expert skills.
The day was made all the better by the lovely weather we had, 27 degrees and blue skies which made for some gorgeous photos. We were asked to choose 4 complete outfits to shoot for, but unfortunately I found the sizes came up quite large (I’d recommend going down a size) which meant I only had two outfits that fit me properly.
My first look comprised of some wide leg silk trousers from the brands collection with Yasmin Le Bon in my favourite colour Navy. I paired these with a simple long sleeve stripe top. This was the most comfortable outfit I’ve ever worn, the trousers almost feel like you’re wearing pyjamas as they’re made from Italian silk but the fit is so flattering that I felt really confident in them.
My second outfit of the day was another pair of wide leg trousers, but this time in a gorgeous hand designed print, created by Yasmin herself. I teamed this with a silk front t-shirt with a jersey back which keeps the look pretty casual but still feels luxe. The trousers also have an elasticated waist at the back, which I think is absolutely genius. I’m going to be wearing these trousers to a summer wedding but perhaps with a silk cami or low cut blazer.
The best part of the day is that my Mum was also there along with some other bloggers, which meant we were finally able to get some photos of the pair of us together, a rarity as most of the time we take the shots for each other!
I worked with the lovely Alexandra Svardh who shot these looks and managed to capture some cute ones with my Mum and I, so a huge thank you to Alexandra and also once again to Winser London for the amazing day and to Stoke Park for hosting us all at the beautiful venue.
