Santorini wedding

I always knew who I’d ask to be bridesmaids for my wedding, and they knew too, having talked about it for months on end before I was even engaged. As our wedding was small (we only had 25 guests) I didn’t want a gaggle of bridesmaids and had my best friend whom I’ve known since I was 11 and my brothers girlfriend, who over the years has become the sister I didn’t ask for, but always wanted.

Together with my mum, these girls make up the most special women in my life. The ones who I wouldn’t know how to live without. I wanted to get the girls pyjamas to wear on the morning of the wedding and came across a beautiful brand called Piglet, I chose their classic linen pyjama short sets for my bridesmaids and also for my mum. When they arrived I was worried about the fit. I had ordered smalls but they looked huge, although once on they looked amazing, and the cut boxier cut was exactly what I was after, they look really flattering on and because they’re linen, they help to keep you cool when you’re hot and warm when you’re cold. I have been meaning to get a set for myself ever since because they all looked so amazing in them.

I also wanted to get them something special that they could keep and opted for these delicate bracelets from Auree in white and yellow gold with their initials on. They’re really classic pieces that look really cute on their own or equally good when they’re layered. They opened them on the morning of the wedding and have been wearing them ever since. They made the perfect gifts and make such a lovely reminder of the day and my wedding morning especially whenever I see them wearing them.
